About Centennial Cuts

Centennial Cuts was founded in 2017 by Luke and Kate Larson in Keenesburg, Colorado. The Larson family has generations of experience in the beef industry and built the brand to provide sustainable, all Colorado beef products raised the right way. Cattle graze on Colorado grass and are finished with locally grown grains on Apishapa Ranch near Fowler, creating exceptional marbling and flavor that embodies the essence of the region.

The brand’s core philosophy centers on animal welfare, environmental welfare, and great tasting beef. Production uses one hundred percent Colorado raised cattle, with jerky handcrafted in a northern Colorado smokehouse.

Today, Centennial Cuts remains proudly family owned and based in Colorado, with a mercantile in Colorado Springs and retail presence across the state. What makes Centennial Cuts special is the way the Larson family’s generational knowledge and commitment to sustainability come through in every bag. The all Colorado sourcing and careful smokehouse craftsmanship create jerky that feels premium, authentic, and deeply connected to the Centennial State.

The Centennial Cuts Difference

The Centennial Cuts difference reveals itself the moment you open the bag. A rich, savory aroma of seasoned beef and Colorado smoke rises, carrying notes of teriyaki, carne asada, or chili that hint at the land where the cattle grazed. It is an immediate sensory invitation that sets high expectations, and the brand consistently delivers.

Crafted from one hundred percent Colorado raised, grass fed beef, each strip offers a tender yet substantial chew. The meat is carefully marinated and smoked in a northern Colorado smokehouse to develop a pleasant resistance that gives way to a clean, enjoyable finish. You notice the substantial bite that feels rewarding without any toughness, the result of cattle finished with local grains and hands on craftsmanship.

Flavor development is masterful and distinctly Colorado. House made seasonings penetrate deeply, allowing complex profiles to build and linger with every chew. Telluride Teriyaki delivers a sweet savory balance with warm ginger undertones. Spanish Peaks Carne Asada brings bold, authentic steakhouse flavor. Serrano Stampede offers fiery heat while Sangre De Cristo Spicy delivers layered chili warmth. Mile High Rodeo adds a classic smoky depth that feels like a Colorado mountain adventure.

This craftsmanship stems directly from the brand’s story and values. Every step from the Apishapa Ranch to the final smokehouse batch reflects the Larson family’s commitment to animal welfare, environmental stewardship, and great tasting beef. The result is jerky that feels premium, authentic, and deeply connected to Colorado. If you enjoy these honest, range inspired profiles, explore our full beef jerky selection.
