All Y’alls Foods is what you get when a Texan decides the jerky aisle has room for a bag with no cow in it. The brand started in Texas in 2018. Founder and CEO Brett Christoffel built it around jerky that keeps its flavor, chew and protein without the animal. Every flavor starts with whole non-GMO soybeans rather than soy protein isolates, and the fiber they bring is one reason the brand calls it The Smarter Jerky™. The brand reports more than 600,000 bags sold and a number-one ranking from Tasting Table. A portion of every sale goes to Rowdy Girl Sanctuary in Waelder, Texas.
What makes All Y’alls Foods different
Whole non-GMO soybeans, not an isolated protein ingredient, are the base of every flavor, and the brand credits that whole bean for the hearty, jerky-style chew. According to the manufacturer, each 2.69-ounce bag of the year-round savory flavors carries 15 to 17 grams of plant protein and 8 to 9 grams of fiber, with 0 mg cholesterol. The recipes are tied to Texas. Both prickly pear flavors use real juice from the fruit of the prickly pear cactus, the State Plant of Texas, and the jalapeño barbecue is inspired by the Panhandle Plains of West Texas. It is also the first flavor made with olive oil, billed at about 50 percent less sodium than previous formulas.
