About Bogeys Beef
Bogeys Beef is the rare jerky brand that got into the clubhouse by winning over the chefs first. It started with Doug Bogumill experimenting with sauces, spices, rubs and homemade jerky recipes. A gifted dehydrator turned that tinkering into a serious craft, and friends and family kept asking for more. Grayson Gordon saw room to build something larger around Doug’s recipes, and the two set about turning a homemade favorite into a brand. Today, according to the brand, Bogeys Beef is stocked at more than 50 of the country’s Top 100 golf courses, including Oakmont, Whistling Straits and Bandon Dunes. It credits executive chefs who had tasted the competition and kept choosing Bogeys Beef. The team is based in Mableton, Georgia.
