BBQ with a little cherry on top: this is barbecue pork jerky that is so very black cherry. Tender slices of pork are marinated for maximum flavor and infused with a sweet and peppery black cherry barbecue sauce. It is made with tomato paste, black cherry juice concentrate, honey, molasses, paprika, red wine vinegar and plum, and it is well seasoned. On the sweet-to-spicy scale it sits right in the middle.
These are premium pork cuts, oven roasted and cooked low and slow, and the result is tender. Through the window the pieces show dark and reddish-brown. It is all natural, with no artificial ingredients and minimally processed. It is gluten free with no nitrates or nitrites added and no MSG added. Good quality meat, great flavor, very suttle cherry flavor but was still very good.
