Not hard, not soft, chewy. It is made from solid strips of beef, thick cut, marinated and hickory smoked daily. The beef comes from small herd, locally sourced cows, no feed lot cattle. Through the window, the strips are dark and glossy. It is handmade in Colorado by Mountain America Jerky, est. 1997, with no MSG, nitrates or other fillers. It is U.S. inspected and passed by the Department of Agriculture.
