Beef brisket is the cut, and it is the one brisket in the Stryve Sliced lineup. Original Brisket is 100% beef, air-dried to mouthwatering perfection and never injected with sugar-laden marinades. It is seasoned with vinegar and dry-rubbed with simple spices: salt, black pepper, white pepper, garlic powder, coriander, clove and nutmeg. That process keeps the full flavor in the beef. The result is ultra-delicious sliced steak with zero sugar and nothing artificial.
The texture is tender, similar to prosciutto. The beef is hung to air dry for up to two weeks and never dehydrated over high heat. Biltong is a centuries-old process of preserving meat that originated in South Africa: season, dry, slice, that is it. Once dried, the beef is sliced ultra-thin into easy-to-eat pieces, and the product photo shows them fanned out with fat visible along the edges.
