A double dose of cracked black pepper is what sets Peppered apart from the Original biltong in the Stryve lineup. It is a classic: Thinly Sliced Steak, seasoned with vinegar and dry-rubbed with simple spices, including white pepper, garlic powder, coriander, clove and nutmeg. There is zero sugar in it, no MSG and nothing artificial.
Biltong is a centuries-old process of preserving meat that originated in South Africa, and air drying is how the beef retains full flavor and tenderness. Stryve hangs it to air dry for up to two weeks, then slices it into ultra-thin, ultra-delicious pieces that are tender and easy to eat. In the pack photo the meat is thin and deep red, with the dry rub visible on every piece. The beef is high quality, sourced from local American farmers, then seasoned, dried and sliced at the Stryve facility in Madill, Oklahoma. All natural here means minimally processed, with no artificial ingredients, no nitrates, no gluten and no preservatives. Every bag is U.S. inspected and passed by the Department of Agriculture.
